Steering Committee
The Management Committee reviews the activity of the various Subcommittees and helps set the strategic direction of the Roundtable. The members of the Management Committee are selected annually by the Board.
Timothy P. Selby, Alston + Bird LLP
Tim Selby is a Partner in the New York offices of the law firm of Alston & Bird. Tim's practice focuses on advising clients with respect to the structuring, formation and management of hedge funds, publicly offered and privately placed commodity pools, and private equity funds. Additionally, Tim is licensed as a CPA, current Chair of the Committee on Futures and Derivatives Regulation for the New York City Bar Association, a member of the Futures Industry Association, a member of the Lawyers Advisory Forum of the Managed Funds Association, and an advisory board member for FiduciaryX. Tim received his J.D. from St. John's University and earned an M.B.A and B.B.A. from Iona College.
David M. Cielusniak, Conquest Capital Group
David M. Cielusniak is currently the Chief Operating Officer to Conquest Capital Group LLC, a quantitative macro hedge fund. Prior to joining Conquest, Mr. Cielusniak was counsel to the Alternative Investment Division at Credit Suisse where he provided legal coverage to hedge funds and various alternative products. Before Credit Suisse, he was an attorney for the Alternative Investment Management Division at Lehman Brothers and was a former Corporate/M&A associate for the law firm of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft. Mr. Cielusniak graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgetown University with a concentration in Finance and minor in Economics. He also holds a Juris Doctorate from the Fordham University School of Law.
Megan K. Flynn, Brigade Capital Management
Megan is currently at Brigade Capital Management, LLC, an SEC registered investment advisor. Prior to that she was an AVP at Legg Mason Global Asset Management where she covered Global Corporate Actions for Legg Mason affiliates around the world. Prior to joining Legg Mason, she was with Merrill Lynch. Megan graduated from Fairfield University with a concentration in International Business and is a published writer.
Gabrielle Guttman, Connext Consulting Inc.
Gabrielle is the President and Founder of Connext Consulting Inc. Prior to founding Connext, Gabrielle was VP of Business Development & Marketing for Southridge LLC. She was responsible for hedge fund marketing, public/investor relations and marketing financial products to global public companies. Before joining Southridge, Gabrielle worked for Kroll Inc., Grey Group Inc., and the investment banking division of Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. Throughout her career, Gabrielle has been an active volunteer and currently holds leadership positions with not-for-profit and philanthropic organizations focused on the financial services industry, women’s initiatives and children’s development. Notable affiliations include 100 Women in Hedge Funds, HedgeNY, ALTSO, High Water Women, the Connecticut Hedge Fund Association, the Hedge Fund Association, and Barnard Business and Professional Women. Gabrielle graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Economics from Barnard College, Columbia University.
Jason M. Jones, HighStep Capital
Jason Jones is the founder and a partner at HighStep Capital (HSC), an investment and consulting firm that specializes in private company secondary market investments in high growth, venture backed businesses. HighStep also runs a long/short equity hedge fund focused on the Internet sector that was launched in 2008. Previously, Jason worked at J. Goldman & Co. where he co-managed a $100m Internet focused long/short equity portfolio. In addition, he worked as an Internet equity research analyst at Goldman Sachs and he worked as a venture capital research analyst at Cambridge Associates. Jason has also consulted on investment related data mining for Mastercard and Connotate Technologies (25% owned by Goldman Sachs). He has also co-founded four venture-backed web businesses: GlobeTrotr, GiftsthatGive, AlphaClone, and WebAccountants. Jason holds an MBA from the Johnson School at Cornell University and a BS from Babson College. He is originally from the Boston area and he currently resides in the NYC area.
Eric S. Lazear, FQS Capital L.P.
Eric S. Lazear is Head of Operational Due Diligence for FQS Capital Partners, which is a global fund of funds founded by former Renaissance Technologies managing director Dr Robert J Frey. FQS takes a scientific approach to hedge fund investing, combining quantitative and qualitative investment techniques. Prior to joining FQS, Eric S. Lazear launched the Operational Risk Due Diligence practice as a Director for Duff and Phelps, an independent provider of financial advisory and investment banking services. Eric was responsible for managing a team that provided independent third party assessments of hedge fund manager’s operating policies and procedures to an array of investors allocating to alternatives. Eric holds a BBA from Hofstra University (1992), and an MBA from Baruch College (2001).

Colin Roberts, Alston + Bird LLP
Colin Roberts is an associate in the New York office of Alston & Bird LLP, where he is a member of the firm's Financial Services and Products Group. Colin focuses his practice on advising private investment fund sponsors in their investment and acquisition activities, debt and equity securities offerings, and issues relating to private fund formation and compliance. Colin has advised clients in the hedge fund industry on a broad spectrum of issues, including fund formation, ongoing compliance with SEC, CFTC, NFA, and FINRA rules and regulations, legal due diligence on behalf of hedge fund investors, and advice with respect to the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 for those sponsors who are registered investment advisers. Colin received his J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law and earned a B.B.A. from Southern Methodist University, where he double majored in finance and real estate finance.
Timothy G. Sledge, Epoch Investment Partners, Inc.
Mr. Sledge is a Principal and one of the senior analysts of Bessemer's Global Large Cap Equities Team. His specific coverage includes US and European large cap banks and life insurance companies. Prior to joining Bessemer, he was with Davis Advisors, Robert R. Meredith & Co., BlackRock, and Sanford C. Bernstein where he covered life insurance companies as a research associate. Mr. Sledge is a CFA charterholder and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. degree in English and Economics.
Stephen D. Susano, Old City Investment Partners LLC
Stephen is a Managing Director with Old City Investment Partners, LLC. He directs the marketing and distribution strategy for Old City's private fund clients, as well as the consulting practice for emerging fund managers. He has been in the asset management industry for over 20 years, serving in a variety of roles within strategic planning, capital raising and operations. During that time, Stephen has held senior positions with a variety of firms including Raymond James, State Street Global Advisors/Advanced Investment Partners and Innovative Options Management, which was a volatility arbitrage hedge fund manager. He graduated with honors from the University of St. Thomas with a B.A. in Economics.
Carol Van Atten, Charles Hayden Foundation
Carol Van Atten is currently the Vice President for Programs at the Charles Hayden Foundation in New York, which focuses on the development of children and youth in the New York and Boston metropolitan areas. Carol oversees the grantee progress within an annual portfolio of $17 million and is responsible for establishing grant strategies. Carol also serves as Chair of the Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Global Impact Funding Trust and is a Member of the Corporation of the New York Botanical Garden. She has served on the Allocations Committee for the New York Women's Foundation. Carol received her AB in Economics from Vassar College and JD from Brooklyn Law School.
Adam B. Weinstein, New Mountain Capital
Adam Weinstein is the Director and Controller of New Mountain Capital, LLC, a New York based private equity, public equity and debt manager with over $8.5 billion in assets under management. He is also the Chief Financial Officer of New Mountain Finance Holdings, LLC, a BDC that New Mountain Capital has filed to take public. Since 2005, Adam has had extensive exposure to the hedge fund industry, helping to build the operations and investor support side of New Mountain's $1.7 billion hedge fund. He previously worked at Deloitte & Touche, LLP, in the M&A and private equity investor services areas, and sits on the board of the Great Oaks Foundation. Adam is a published writer and New York State Certified Public Accountant. He received his B.S., summa cum laude, from Binghamton University.
