Tim Selby is a Partner in the New York offices of the law firm of Alston & Bird. Tim's practice focuses on advising clients with respect to the structuring, formation and management of hedge funds, publicly offered and privately placed commodity pools, and private equity funds. Additionally, Tim is licensed as a CPA, the current president of the New York Hedge Fund Roundtable, current Chair of the Committee on Futures and Derivatives Regulation for the New York City Bar Association, a member of the Futures Industry Association, a member of the Lawyers Advisory Forum of the Managed Funds Association, and an advisory board member for FiduciaryX.

Charles Hayden Foundation, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney GIFT

Carol Van Atten has been working in the nonprofit world for over twenty years. Currently she is the Vice President for Programs at the Charles Hayden Foundation in New York. The Foundation focuses on the development of children and youth in the New York and Boston metropolitan areas. Her responsibilities include establishing grant strategies and overseeing grantee progress within an annual portfolio of $17 million. Carol also serves as Chair of the Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Global Impact Funding Trust and is a Member of the Corporation of the New York Botanical Garden. She has served on the Allocations Committee for the New York Women's Foundation. Carol received her AB in Economics from Vassar College and JD from Brooklyn Law School.

Sheldon Hirshon is a senior member of Proskauer Rose LLP's Corporate Department. With over 30 years of experience as a corporate and transactional attorney, Shelly has developed a broad-based practice encompassing complex domestic and international matters. As a result, his experience covers a diverse array of matters involving corporate governance, general corporate transactional matters, bio-tech start-ups, restructures, and corporate finance. He has advised clients in numerous industries including hedge and private equity funds, insurance, apparel, entertainment, lodging and travel, real estate, consumer goods, retail, financial services and electronics He is also actively involved in non-profit matters as a founder of or advisor to New York Cares, Youth America Grand Prix, the Motorcycle Association of New York State, Leave Out Violence, and other non-profits.

Tim Sledge is a research analyst covering the financial services sector in the Large Cap U.S. Equity Fund at Bessemer Trust. Prior to joining Bessemer in June 2005, Tim was a research associate at Sanford C. Bernstein covering life insurance companies. He was also employed at Davis Advisors, Robert R. Meredith & Co. and BlackRock. Tim holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.

Marc Schneider is Managing Director at Avenue Europe, where he oversees all of the firm's investments in the basic materials sectors. Prior to joining Avenue, Marc was a Director at Salomon Smith Barney in the Investment Banking Department. Previously he practiced corporate law at Cravath Swaine & Moore and Stroock & Stroock & Lavan.

Ben Plantan oversees strategic marketing and business development for the four New York City metropolitan offices of JH Cohn LLP. Prior to joining JH Cohn, Ben provided major Korean corporations with strategic consulting services at both International Services Group and Booz-Allen & Hamilton. Ben also spent four years in Washington, DC at CGI Group where he was a process redesign and financial systems consultant to a number of major government agencies. Ben is currently Co-Director for the New York City chapter of Drishtipat, a nonprofit working for human rights and development in Bangladesh. Ben earned his BA from the University of Pennsylvania as a triple major in International Relations, Economics, and Korean Studies.

Larry Block has served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of The Kenmar Group since March 2005. Prior to joining Kenmar, Mr. Block was a Managing Director and General Counsel of Lipper & Company, L.P., a New York based investement management firm, from January 1998 until March 2005. Prior to joining Lipper & Company, Mr. Block was a Senior Associate at the law firm Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft in New York from May 1996 through December 1997. Mr. Block also worked as an associate at the law firm Proskauer Rose Goetz & Mendelsohn from Septmeber 1992 through May 1996. Mr. Block received a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1989 and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law in 1992.

Prior to his current role, Young was the General Counsel of Principled Capital Management and the Chief Legal Officer of Oppenheimer Capital. Young received his J.D. from New York University School of Law and his B.A. from Cornell University. Young is a CFA charterholder and licensed to practice law in New York.
